Re: Marseille-Provence (LFML/MRS) - 2010 MIL

Post by r.e.hendriks »

Hi all,

Today (17/6) I departed from Marseille at 10.20lt.
During departure I noted several helicopters parked at the Eurocopter Factory.

1x EC.725 Caracal (grey c/s)
1x Dauphin/Panther (grey c/s
1x Dauphin/Panther (near the one with the grey c/s, looks like with topside)
1x Dauphin/Panther (RSAF c/s)

Anyone any idea for the registrations of these helicopters??

Any help would be more than welcome.

Best regards, Rob.

To make it more confusing, I logged the Spanish Cougars as HU.27-02/ET-669 and HU.27-04/ET-671 today.

Also noted were
F-ZWBN/AMHP-154 AS-565MB Mexican Navy
F-ZKCI /728 AS-332 Saudi Navy
F-ZWBO/3 NH-90 Aeronavale

and a very colourful yet unmarked (civil) EC-155B1 of Vietnamese NSFC (Northern Service Flight Company).

Can you tell me at what time you logged the above helicopters??

See question above.....

From the industrial estate ("La Poste" terrain) we read Tigres 2016/F-ZWRN and HA.28-03/ET-703/F-ZKBB, but there was also a third one, probably AdT. Can anyone help us with that one?

Hi, Thank you for the additions.
I am not sure for the ET-669, because of the long distance and diffecult angle.
HL.27-02 instead of HL.27-62 is of course possible !!!!
I can confirm HL.27-02/ET-669 with test registration F-ZBKC. Read off from less than 10 feet, when it was towed along the fence when we were reading off the CL.415's and S-2's on Friday the 4th of June.

Also seen at Eurocopter that day were:
HA.28-03 EC.665
623 NH.90 Oman
H287 Cougar Chili (test regi F-ZKBN)
F-WWOT Cougar Moroccan Gendarmerie
F-ZWTG NH.90 Sweden (all black with full colour roundel)
F-WWQG Cougar (primer)

Outside were two more Cougars in primer, and inside (left hangar) were another two of which one was in primer and one in grey. Any help with those would be highly appreciated!

And furthermore the following operational Sec Civ:
DHC-8's 73 and 74
EC.145 F-ZBPQ
CL.415's 32, 34, 35, 38, 39, 42, 44, 45, 48
S-2's 11, 12
AS.350 F-ZBFD
Cheers,

AS532 F-WJXJ gy c/s, parked on the ramp most of the day
AS532 ET-668 was it here also? (morning only)
AS332 F-WHFC/CUO001 primer/white c/s, t/f (CUO001 is customer code, stickered high on fuselage next to last cockpit window)
AS332 (F-WHFO) hangar, not read by me, same primer/white as above
AS532 ..../CGX AdT, on ramp most of the day
AS532 .... primer, UAE on sign, in hangar, from parking lot

AS332 HL0617 blue/wh c/s, reg on paper, Korean text, towed
EC665 F-ZKBM AdT c/s, towed (reportedly 2036)
EC665 .... primer, panels missing, towed
Plus 6 EC120B from Ala 78, arr 14th, dep 15th (en route to Gilze)

Additions/corrections - 14th:
AS555 5382/UV/F-ZKBS not ZKBC (typo)
AS555 ..../VR/F-ZKCQ not ZKCO
EC665 RSNF5001/F-ZWBG civ reg add
EC155 F-WWOE was the r/wh/bl Vietnam aircraft towed

Extra - 15th:
Ce310 F-ZJCS Gendarmerie, visit EDIT = 569 from CEV !
AS332 F-WWOH primer
AS332 F-WHFB wh/bl c/s, Korean text

Additions/corrections - 15th:
AS555 5390/UZ/F-ZKCR c/n read

I did not check every Super Puma-family helicopter on its proper designation yet. The Super Cougars (EC225LP civ, EC725 mil) are long and have 5-bladed rotorheads.
The Super Pumas / Cougars have 4-bladed props (AS332B civ short, AS332L2 civ long, AS532 mil short and AS532UL for the long ones, also AC/AL/SC configs).

So everybody check those pics !!

Some extra bits from me, all personally read:

624/F-ZWTW Omani NH90 flew on Friday 11th (623 also flew at around the same time)
AS.350B3 PN-120 was c/n 7025
Maroc Gendarmerie EC.225 was CN-BZG.
French Navy AS.565SA 505 test flew as F-ZKCK on Friday 11th
An unidentified Tiger F-ZKBL was towed on Friday 11th
EC225 F-WWOH had customer code NRK002
F-WWOA was an AS.365N3 in the orange/white colours of Pawan Hans.

Does anyone know for sure for which country the PN-120 is destined? I heard Argentina, but also Angola is mentioned?

I am currently looking at a pic of F-WHFC with 5 blades 8)

The Eurocopter lingo still escapes me.
BRA002 is easy, but CUO001 and NRK002... any offers?

Oke will check my photo's again.

Another typo was the exact type of the F-WMXF with the German flag on tail, this was a EC-135 instead of a EC-145
