(notes: a journey to the region of Jülich allowed me for spending an hour at Geilenkirchen airbase. Although only one KC-135 was present there without sign of any activity, departures of no less than three Sentrys provided some welcome action. Good to see those AWACS flying again!)

That one you saw was the KC-135R 60-0367 (121 ARW OHIO ANG)
The 60-0341 was on deck at that time.

Can someone tell me at what time the deployed tankers usually arrive at Geilenkirchen on the first day of their deployment? I will probably have the time to visit the base next Monday for the arrival of the Arizona KC-135s.

Normally between 08:00 and 12:00 local time.
Some units arrive early, others as little later.
Base open at 08:00.
