KLM World Cup flights

On Saturday 10JUL10 is operating 3 extra Amsterdam – Johannesburg flights. Return flight to Amsterdam operates on 12JUL10.

10 July - Amsterdam – Johannesburg

KL595 AMS0900 – 2010JNB 772
KL599 AMS1000 – 2110JNB M11
KL591 AMS1030 – 2125JNB 772

12JUL10
KL594 JNB0300 – 1410AMS 744
KL596 JNB0400 – 1510AMS 772
KL600 JNB0600 – 1710AMS M11
KL592 JNB2355 – 1105+1AMS 77W

On 12JUL10 and 13JUL10, KL591/592 service operates with 777-300ER instead of -200ER as planned.

Corendon planning to charter 1 or 2 aircraft for WK Final, booking via their website :worship:

Any idea what we can expect?

Read somewhere it will be 2 747s.
They're offering full service and also Business Class.

Planes will depart AMS at 20.00 according to Corendon website, so I guess they will arrive at AMS in the afternoon.

Spoke to mr. Uslu (CEO of Corendon) this morning. Two Greek 747's will be chartered. So we can probably expect SX-TIB en SX-TIE at AMS on Saturday.

Corendon heeft twee toestellen gecontracteerd bij de Griekse charterspecialist Hellenic Imperial Airways. In beide 747-200’s is plaats voor ruim 450 passagiers. De eerste vlucht is al volgeboekt, zo laat Corendon woensdagmiddag (7 juli) aan Luchtvaartnieuws.nl weten. Corendon onderzoekt de mogelijkheid om een derde vliegtuig te huren voor het geval de twee Griekse 747’s niet toereikend zijn.

De retourvlucht vanuit Johannesburg vertrekt maandagmorgen vroeg en komt eind van de middag weer in Nederland aan.

Ik dacht dat Hellenic niet meer op Schiphol mocht komen met hun 747's ?

Hadden ze geen ban van de IVW ?

I thought the same but just checked the latest list (7-7-2010) and Hellenic isn't on it (anymore?).
