GLV5 & 7: Hunting for REDSKINs & GRIZZLYs
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Very nice photo's,
when did you took them (date - time).
Can you tell me where i can find GLV 7 and are there some other GLV 's beside GLV-5 & 7 where the helicopters can easy be seen?
Again really nice shots hope you can tell us some more about the spots where you took them ( maybe some google earth coordinates?)
greetings ralph

Hello Ralph, for date and time you can check the properties of the pictures: I was there the last three weeks.kmarrie wrote:Very nice photo's,

You can find the GLV's at the website given by Ewald. GLV5 is rather small but GLV7 is very large, I was at the Beekhuizerzand.
Greetings, Daan.

And they were there to hunt down that little bird you pictured?
Awesome shots! I really like to see the KLu practicing!
Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Ah. Nice ones. I was there today and I could borrow some camera's from my fellow members. Very friendly of them. I just can't help admiring our Belgian Friend. How does he keep his neck straight with all his camera's. I really tried, but it was hard!
Just came back, so still have to transfer/edit todays catch, but here are some from last week.

One of my favorites from this afternoon:
What a great experience to spend the evening photographing Chinooks with The Great Leader! After his first trip I just knew I had to join this exclusive group of people. No less than 11 photographers from 8 locations joined today's FNPC course and it was a huge success.
And the best thing: all of us are now qualified to spend time with Him in the near future. Wow!

Thank you dear FNPC members. It was pleasure to be with you again and very pleased with the new teammembers.
Could not resist editing some pictures. Here they are. I think Chief Food&Beverages (who did an OUSTANDING job again, bringing Palm beer to the premises) will upload some pics from us in action. Also looking forward to your contributions !

These are the pictures I would like to make! Great stuff and nice to see some pics from the GLV7! Belenos, you were lucky to capture an 'Alouette' in the GLV5 as well?!
