Re: Low Pass topic
I remember a very low pass of the McDonnell Douglas KDC-10-30CF (T-235) from the RNLAF at the Open Days RNLAF Leeuwarden in 2008
Not the best shot I made... but it was awesome to see...

The American master of low-passes, Dale "Snort" Snodgrass, Oceana 2005:
C-130 keeping it low:
And an E-2 as well:
Piaggio at Zoersel ground to air...
Two days later, Piaggio at Zoersel air to ground... Much more fun for me, but not a spectacular picture .

Re: Low Pass topic
Nice picture Sven but an aircraft taking off can hardly be qualified as a "low pass"
Because in that case we have several hundred low passes by big airliners at Schiphol every day.
I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

H'm, do you consider this take off as a normal one? The pilot in command is keeping this bird quite lowThermal wrote:

Not the best shot I made... but it was awesome to see...
The pilots trained a couple of days before the Open Days. It was indeed amazing to see this big plane staying just above the runway for almost the complete length of the runway! This picture is made on 12-06-2008 during training. Plane is just starting to climb above the barrier.
Don't steal my pictures...
