Just another piece of info about the supposed ban on cameras and stuff:Johan wrote: I couldn't imagine that camera equipment would be confiscated at the gate
I had a closer look at my tickets and they say (in Hungarian) "the use of audio and image recording devices is permitted at the event". So, that's official...
Re: Kecskemét 7,8 August 2010
In 2008 in "Security Regulations" this was stated:
"Sound and video recordings and photos can only be taken of the instruments displayed and exhibited at the event from public areas. Any kind of recording is forbidden on the restricted areas of military installation. These recordings and photos can be confiscated by the organizers/security personnel."
Can anybody ask directly organisers for more info about this rule?

Well, I have no direct contact to them, but it's simple really: you are not allowed to take any pictures or videos of the places and equipment that are not part of the show. and/or not open to the public.Screenes wrote:In 2008 in "Security Regulations" this was stated:

Just tried to find a bus site or any other means of travel in Kecskemet itself, but I can't find any. I would only need map and timetables, if anybody has got a link it would be perfect. Will post it if I find it before I get reply.

The website (only in Hungarian):
http://www.kunsagvolan.hu/kecskemetihel ... k-alap.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The corporation's press release about the airshow schedule: http://www.kunsagvolan.hu/kecskemetihel ... ap_taj.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
There will be 3 major parking area (green, yellow and red) with free shuttle buses. The shuttle buses get the same colour sign with the destination parking area.
The bus corporation launch another direct services from the city centre and from the railway station to the airshow but these shuttles cost 285/500 HUF (one way/round).

Some additional pieces of important info concerning the buses:
- Green buses will drop off passangers at gate 1, yellow and red buses at gate 3.
- The system works the same way in the other direction (return to the parking lots), i.e. green buses depart only from gate 1, yellow and red ones only from gate 3

Thank you, this page I also found via Kecskemet.hu. But do you have any map of this normal bus lines going every day? I have to get to airfield from hotel every day, so I want to check if there is some bus going near to the AFB. Otherwise I take a taxi.bazsi wrote:The website (only in Hungarian):

Re: Kecskemét 7,8 August 2010
Bus number 4 goes to the airport.
http://www.kunsagvolan.hu/kecskemetihel ... jarat.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bus ticket:
210 HUF in advance
285 HUF from the driver
Shopping ticket 155 HUF (between 08-13)
You can use only the first door when you get on the bus.
For runway direction 12 I suggest to get off @ Konzervgyár stop and walk along the Kaffka Margit street. For direction 30 you have to go until the Repülőtér and walk a little. Now there is a bicycle road next to the route 44.

Re: Kecskemét 7,8 August 2010
Can anyone tell me if the English version on the website has been updated? I'm just trying to find out for certain which countries and plane types will be flying(dynamic) during the show.
Thanks for the help,
Trevor

Not yet, but I think you're better off to look at the Hungarian version (I'm not Hungarian and I manage just fine)
http://repulonap.hu/airshow/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Dinamikus = flying
Statikus = static
Nothing = we'll have to wait to find out, though in some cases it's clear they're support planes which will be static. Don't wait for the English version to be updated, I'd suggest, I'm sure we can all manage to understand anyway.
I'm not sure how much this list is based on info or conjecture/assumption, but it can certainly serve as a guideline:

Re: Kecskemét 7,8 August 2010
Maybe on this week, we will get a list what will show: what will be static, and what will be dynamic.
In first days of August will arrive the flying program of the whole Airshow (for both day)...
In this year are more participant and now I think the coordination is harder than it was in 2008...
