Cimber Air has announced the opening of a new route Copenhagen – Amsterdam - CPH with 12x/weekly service starting 31 OCT 2010. Cimber's B737 aircraft will operate Mon-Fri and ATR-72s on weekends.

De Deense luchtvaartmaatschappij Cimber Sterling is vanaf de winterdienstregeling een nieuwe naam op de luchthaven Schiphol. Met ingang van 31 oktober vliegt de onderneming twaalf keer per week naar Kopenhagen. Op de route Amsterdam-Kopenhagen gaat Cimber Sterling de concurrentie aan met KLM, SAS en Norwegian.

Van maandag tot en met vrijdag wil Cimber Air twee vluchten per dag uitvoeren met een Boeing 737-700; op zaterdag en zondag staat één dagelijkse vlucht in de planning met een ATR 72 turboproptoestel. Met de vluchten richt Cimber Sterling zich zowel op zakenreizigers als toeristen.

Naast Amsterdam voegt Cimber Sterling vanaf het winterseizoen ook Istanbul, Tel Aviv en Zürich aan het routenetwerk toe. Ook breidt de maatschappij de vliegfrequentie op binnenlandse routes vanaf Kopenhagen naar Aarhus, Karup, Ronne/Bornholm en Sonderborg uit.

Cimber Sterling ontstond begin vorig jaar na het faillissement van de Deense luchtvaartmaatschappij Sterling, dat ook actief was op Schiphol. De regionale carrier Cimber nam een deel van de boedel van Sterling over, en ging onder de naam Cimber Sterling met enkele Boeing 737’s van start op intra-Europese routes, vooral naar vakantiebestemmingen rond de Middellandse Zee.

De vloot bestaat uit een mix van regionale toestellen als ATR 42’s, ATR 72’s en Bombardier CRJ200’s en inmiddels zes Boeing 737-700’s.

B767-300ER is quite right as I wrote "originally agreed upon" and that is off course not entirely correct.
The schedule was revised already quite some time ago and this is where I got confused. So I agree that 6 might not be correct.

Air Arabia Maroc announces an increase in its flights to Amsterdam from 1 November 2010, while arrival and departures will change from after mid-night to early evening:
