Rivolto AB 11/12 September - 50 years Frecce Tricolore

Anyone have any idea if this is going to be a base open house or a full blown airshow?

Hi,

Would love to know that as well. While I was at one of their shows in Italy in August I was handed a flyer by a team member but we were unable to gather more information.
In that flyer the following is written: "...the entire Squadron are now preparing for what shall be one of the most important events of 2010...you are invited to Rivolto in September to take part in our celebration of 50 Years of work!"

Especially the first line rises my hope that it will be a full airshow with lots of teams present like it happend in the past in Rivolto.
Any further information would be great but I guess we'll have to wait until 2010 display dates by teams and solos are published.

At a press conference to Italian tourist organisations the Frecce Tricolori said the Rivolto show was expecting up to 400,000 visitors and as many as 16 national aerobatic teams. The show would be the same on both days. (Info from Frecce Tricolori website)

It was a fantastic show! Both days. Great clear weather and a lot of laid back people, fun all the way!

All aerobatic teams (and the solo flights also!) were outperforming themselves
