Re: spotter day tiger meet 2010???
I really doubt that you can compare the number of interested people for the spottersday concerning the Luchtmachtopendagen with the number of people who want to attend a spottersday during the Tigermeet!
The Luchtmachtopendagen are held during a weekend. Most people have only a limited number of days off from their work and if they can attend on a saturday they will not give up a free day. For the Tigermeet this will obviously not be the question. There is also the fact that people will expect to have far better opportunities at the Tigermeet spottersday than at an operational day outside by the fence than the Open Dagen spottersday for an Airshowday.
How many spotters attended the spottersdays at Kleine Brogel? I think it will be very fair to say that the numbers will be very much at Volkel.

Comparing a spotter day with a spotter day at KB, is like comparing an airshow with the RIAT.
For a regular spotter day the question isn't how many people want to attend, but how many people you can accommodate!

Thanks for the information Robert, I never knew you were involved with Spotting Group Volkel, nice to talk to you again but whatever you do, do not mention the "cancelled" word

You are referring to the Dutch non-members tickets?Tony wrote:It is a shame that all tickets for thursday are allready sold out.
Is there a chance that the SGV will provide more tickets for that day ?
I was 30 minutes too late to get a ticket.
I am very disappointed
In September there will be a small scale left-over sale. It is wise not to count on that sale and buy a ticket for the wednesday instead.

Re: Spotters days Tiger Meet 7/13 October 2010
I hope this isn't seen as a spin-off, but i am wondering something...
What's the difference between the 7th and the 13th... everyone rushed to get tickets for the 7th (the day that is sold out now) and left the 13th for takers... Am i missing something or is the program different on both days? (i don't think so)
i hope that i am not the only one wondering that same question
Grtz,
TG1984

Are any non Dutch tickets left for Thursday 7th? I bought my ticket last night but I didn't have my friends passport number to buy him a ticket.

On the whole line there is more interest in the 7th. Why, we don't know either. Not because of holidays. Maybe of the *insert the word Frank prohibited using* of Frisian Flag in the first week?topgun1984 wrote:What's the difference between the 7th and the 13th... everyone rushed to get tickets for the 7th (the day that is sold out now) and left the 13th for takers... The program will be the same or maybe even better in the second week (pure speculation: but further in an exercise the missions become more complex).

Hello,
I just noticed that the tickets for non-members living in NL are sold out! It's a pity!
Does anyone know if there will be more tickets available for this group? I hope so! In the two other groups are still tickets available.
