Hi Rob (Aardvark)
Yes I had contact with Frans van Zelst (and Rudy Bijman) , do not remember exactly when (2003/2004?) but I will try to e-mail him.
(I found both and organize a meeting here)
Greetings

Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
This rainy afternoon I found some old negs:
Maico van Dijk trying to kill Hans Drost
Air-to-ground shot: from right to left: Spakie, Hans Drost ... and ??? (note the futuristic camera protection device hanging in the barbed wire of the fence - far left)
Hans Drost trying to 'bike off' Dick Wels' head

Re: "spotters archive soesterberg"
How about a spottersreunion? On the 28th of November 2010 you can all gather on the runways of Soesterberg.
Put on your runningshoes and participate in the runwayrun for 5km or 10km (or 1km for the little ones!).

Hey Roel, how did you get this picture? It shows Senor Angerman (formerly known as H. Leertouwer a.k.a. 'Horror') and myself, together with Ten. Santos, who later became military advisor to the president and military attache in Brazil.
The picture must have been taken by Gerard H.
