That's what they call a noise nose, hahaha! that picture is great indeed again Martijn. though i have to say that the noise is not disturbing me. You probably cropped this one very strong and had to adjust some things in the picture?
Anyways, very strong picture!

It's 270 m - the distance from the beginning to the displaced landing threshold. See this topic as well.

Menno, very cool nightshots! (Aperture around 11 or 14 here?) Some nice twinkling lights, and it looks like you chose a good WB. Awesome!
@Erik, you've probably walked the distance yourself right? (While underway to your work.. )

Thanks for the compliments mate! You've seen that pretty well by the way, Aperture 13. I have to say though, making a decent nightshot is some other kind of ballgame. I wanted to create twinkling lights indeed, but on the hand, with a fully open diafragma you will have much more cover over your sensor, so i've tried to find something in between.
White balance was a little tough though, i was not able to recall the exact situation when i was there, but after some adjustments in RAW, i think i came pretty close.....
Thanks again!

Re: EHAM / Schiphol 25-10-2010
Erik, thanks again! By the way, you have no idea how much attention it needed last night. was driving towards the airport at around 00.15 hours. i live in almere, and passing Muiderberg, i had to get back, forgotten my tripod! After that, on the A-10, two cars in front of me, they blocked the road completely, to get one of the signs above the road down. stood there for half an hour! Right, at that time my mood was allready dropped dramatically, but once i have something in my head, i just MUST do it. so i arrived, taking out my little vouwfiets and cycled towards the cyclepath leading parrarel to the P5. made some shots, dead battery, no problem, swap it and............oh =censored=, left the other battery in the car about twenty minutes later i was back on the spot, made the last ones and head back home.........wrong, they blocked the A-6, had to go around, additing another twenty minutes.............it was a, how do i say it, memorable night!Key wrote:Nope, I just drive by (about 1km further south, the parallel polder straight starts ).Andras wrote:@Erik, you've probably walked the distance yourself right?
