Going through my collection I found these I thought would be nice to share...
Impressive bird. Last time I saw one before this one was in 1978. That one went full power. They are a bit more carefull with this one. I hope they can keep it flying for many years to come!

Re: Volkel Open Day 2009
Leeuwarden, nice to get this nice airshow up again. Now I can post mine too, since I wasn't active yet on the boards back then.
I see nice pictures coming by. Also from Friday, when the weather was so much better then.
Leeuwarden, your Hunter, Donier and DC2 (Uiver) are great.
Snipes. nice "Tiger" and static shots.
Javindo50, I love the Hornet pictures. Not that difficult, it's a nice plane! And your shot with the Merlin and NH-90 (both not seen on saturday) is great. A good view which tells me that the NH-90 is looking better.
Some of mine, I hope you like them:
1. Shooting static on Volkel is simply great.
2. Also the pre-/after-flight procedures are good to follow.
3. An advantage of not so blue skies...
4. The great Vulcan after it's display. Here standing between the two runways.
5. Let's fly! The sun was all gone now. Love the angle.
6. Trying to be arty-farty.
7. Another great angle on the smoker.
