Re: NEWS - Winter Schedule 2011-2012
Jet Airways has been granted daily flights between Delhi and Amsterdam starting winter 2011, so hopefully they will indeed start service.
The article also mentions code-sharing between Jet and Alitalia and using Italy as their European hub, a proposed new service to Paris CDG and non-stop service to New York. I wonder if these developments indicate a move towards Skyteam and it probably will mean the end of their Brussels hub.

KLM announced from 31OCT11, it’ll resume service to Buenos Aires, its 67th Inter-Continental destination, after 12 years of hiatus.

Certainly 'smells' like it...would be nice for AMS to, finally, see an Indian airline again at it's turf...Xanadu_A343 wrote:Jet Airways has been granted daily flights between Delhi and I wonder if these developments indicate a move towards Skyteam and it probably will mean the end of their Brussels hub.
Also nice, btw, to see Indigo allowed to fly to SIN...

Re: NEWS - Winter Schedule 2011-2012
AMS-SIN is 10517 km.

Re: NEWS - Winter Schedule 2011-2012
In Europe, KLM plans to continue its higher frequency (6x/day) operation to major destinations in the upcoming Winter schedule 2011-2012. Some smaller destinations will also see higher frequencies - but not all, for example:
- Trondheim (Summer 3x/day, in winter also 3x/day)
but:
- Marseille (Summer 4x/day, in winter 3x/day)
- Trondheim (Summer 3x/day, in winter also 3x/day)
but:
- Marseille (Summer 4x/day, in winter 3x/day)
