Re: Rotterdam 8-3 C17
Hi,
An afternoon shot of one of the newest USAF C-17As, 09-9206 from 437thAW Charleston. It's a surprising and rare visitor for Rotterdam.
Two other civvies, the Air Ambulance Do328 and a Falcon 7X taxiing in.
Regards,
Maurits

Re: Rotterdam 8-3 C17
I just happened to pass the airfield yesterday on my way back home when I caught a glimpse of the C17. Passing 4 lanes in quite heavy traffic to get to the exit is quite the challenge I can tell you. Luckily though they just started taxiing out so I was able to drive alongside, get my camera ready and jump out at the last available parking. Unfortunately there's a fence, but it's not really noticeable in the pictures. Problem with posting last of course is that most angles have been covered allready. Not just covered, in this case it will be near impossible to top Nick's excellent night frame. Still, I'm kind of pleased with my backlit shot so even though a day has passed allready here's my entry.

Hi,
A bit late (sorry), but here's one more shot of 'RCH437' on its way to rwy24.
