Now listening to Phantom17. Told controller they were a flight of 2 F-16's. Also their accent doesn't seem to be American so these could possibly be Danish. The Phantom15 I heard earlier this afternoon also didn't have an American accent, so I guess this callsign isn't used by F-15's . (EDIT: Coalition overview shows Danish F-16s at Signonella so Phantom is used by the Danish, not the Americans)
Also heard a flight of 2 F-18's returning to Sigonella.
RCH613: FL310
Petro14: FL380, direct Trapani
Phantom15: 2 F-16's exiting operational area, requesting direct LICZ (Sigonella)
Phantom17: req direct Sigonella, down to FL190; cleared to contact Sigonella tower
FAF4032: FL240, active at 20:55
FAF4033: FL240
21:55
Chaos63: flight of 2, FL250 request clearance to LIPA (Aviano), identified themselves as 2 F-18, so should be EA-18G's!!
FAF4033: climbing FL260 due to traffic
RCH613: request to go tactical now, report back on freq
22:05
Chaos63: switching Brindisi 264.850/121.750
Sniper75: descending FL240, switch Trapani approach 119.950
Strike25: looking to proceed North to Aviano, identified themselves as 3 ship F-15's
22:15
FAF4033: KC-135 plus 2 fighters, proceeding to LFMI (Istres-le Tube)
FAF4032: KC-135, destination LFMI (Istres-le Tube)
FAF9003: E-3F, FL320
22:25
Exxon07: 12miles North of Palermo
FAF4033: hand off to Roma 128.800
FAF4032: hand off to Roma 128.800

Re: Live ATC Malta Logs
When I heared the accent, the Phantom 17 is without any doubt a Danish fighter jet.

Forte10: at FL470, climb to FL500, requesting block 500-600 (Should be RQ-4B)
Exxon07: will report when going tactical
22:50
Exxon04: climbing to FL410, from 340, KC-135 destination EGUN (Mildenhall)
Getting quieter, so I'm out!

Re: Live ATC Malta Logs
I'm not entirely sure, but the operator could be controlling the aircraft out of Sigonella, possibly even the US. Who has a definitive answer?Argus 01 wrote:
