Excellent log Melchior!

On 13NOV1998 I saw this one at the gate as "68-15056", but I made a note that the above is the correct serial.
Did you read it yourself? If yes, they apparently repainted it and corrected the serial.

Thanks,
Gerard

Gerard,

The serial should be the correct serial, not the one it is wearing now. It now wears "70-15036" but that serial does not excist. (I see I should have underlined the preserved serials..)

Hello Melchior. While doing some research and update of lists on the newly delivered CH-47F for the USAREUR I found out that the Chinook unit at Wheeler is called "Co B, 3-25th GSAB". Or in full: B Company - "Hillclimbers", 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), 25th Infantry Division

The following airframes were delivered to the Co B, 3-25th GSAB on 18th of November 2010.
07-08735 07-08736 07-08738 07-08739 07-08740
07-08741 07-08742 07-08743 09-08064 09-08065
09-08066 09-08067 09-08068 09-08069

Those underlined should be the 4 ones you were not able to identify.... :) See the following page to see the delivery in Pearl Harbor: http://www.chinook-helicopter.com/news/ ... awaii.html. Each airframe being unloaded was captured on digital sensor.

All the above credits to http://www.chinook-helicopter.com a good reference website.

BR,
Jeroen
