I heard on the news that Rasmussen (NATO's boss) requested more NATO aircraft to participate in Libia.
That could be a possible reason for cancellations...

After yesterdays news concerning the NTM2011, I would liek to start this day with a positive post:

According to a posting on UKAR 335Mira is in full prep for the NTM, including some tiger mks on one of their Vipers!!!

Polish Viper (or Vipers) will get Tiger stickers on tail (tails). New painting was not considered due to special paint layer on our F-16s but stickers can also be nice.

According some infos at FF, AG51 is also preparing a special c/s tiger jet for this NTM.

I thought that the SEM tiger unit was switching to Rafales and therefor could not participate in last years meet....are they still flying with SEMs?

i guess they are still flying with SEM, otherwise why should they be planned to participate with 3 acft?!

Sad news of these cancelleations . Operational commitments Libya for the dutch, norwegian and begian units I understand. ... But the UK Puma's? I thought no helicopters are active for Libya?

For all other countries I hope these units will show up. As for I know these countries have limited or no involvement.

Probably a Praethuys comment, but RAF Puma's cancel almost every year, so I was not surprised to see them cancelled this year as well. I think we shouldn't look to what is cancelled, but to what is comming:
