Was this one flying with EC12, EC05.330 or just a non tiger meet visitor?

I've got EF-18A C.15-40/15-27 on photo, is the one in the overview with serial C.15-27/15-14 correct?
Didn't see this one.
Also the Polish F-16 with serial 4082 must be a D instead of F-16C

C15-27/15-14 was seen last monday (see post by Richard de florennes in other topic). It is unknown to me when C.15-40/15-27 arrived.

11-05-11 notes:

M2000C 86/103-LL was towed from/to the maintenance area
B1900 T-729 arr/dep
C.15-40 flew together with C.15-27, the one in Tiger mks was the spare
M2000C 102/103-KR was the spare on the flightline for EC1/12
SAAB 105 with Tiger mks was the spare and parked (visible from spottersarea) in the shelterarea
M2000-5F 54/102-EZ (no escadrille mks) flew together with 118-EQ/102-EZ/118-MG (so ECE5/330?)

The Portuguese spare was 15114 (photoproof)
The Polish spare should have been 4060
The Spanish spare should have been C.15-41 (in Tiger mks)
The Swiss spare should have been J-5015
All visible on flightline

At about 8.45h a Mirage2000C was towed from the shelter area to maintenance, was this the mentioned 86/103-LL?
Seen while arriving from the west to the spotters entrance of the base: S.Mystere on pole, is this 88 as "124/12-ZT"?, behind a sandwall was a green Mirage 3 tail and a top/rotor of a helicopter visible, are those Mir 3E 496 and H-34A SA162/68-DJ?
Visitors may 11th:
T-729 Be1900D SUI777 arr/dep
F-GNSD Beech 58 Baron DGAC arr/dep around 17.00h
661/112-NK Mir F1CR landed 16.55h (c/s ...30A)
223/112-QX Mir F1CT overshoot 16.55h (c/s ....30B)
FB-24 F-16BM 10W/nb arr 17.04h (BAF...)
FA-.. F-16AM "60yrs 31sm" s/c arr 17.04h (BAF...)
E22/705-LS Alpha Jet A-Jets arr 17.05h (Request?22)
and at 17.15h Tornado 46+46 landed as Eagle22

Anyone for the An-28 (Polish Navy??) that crossed the field from north to south at 11.58h? It was grey and the wheels were down. Maybe it fuelstopped somewhere in Germany/Belgium or on SBS logged???

TIA,
Erik

Excellent day yesterday and a lot tied up thanks to this forum, just one or two more questions on my side;

The two Saab 105's red G and yellow I, departed around 11am, didn't see them return as I had to depart early - I didn't see the 105 in tiger marks did thi leave earlier?

Opposite the enclosure there were three choppers 1 SA330, 1 Tigre and a Gazelle - I haven't seen anyone confirm the Gazelle as yet.

Once departed I visited the Cambrai-Niergienes field and two items of interest - its only 10 minutes away

103-XN CM170 pole mounted
F-BGXC J4 Cub ex US-mil

Lastly around 2pm in the Arras area (20 miles NW of Cambrai) I saw a French Army six-ship (maybe more even), consisting of at least 1 x SA330, 2 x Gazelle & 3 Tigre's) did anyone pick these up at all maybe SBS?

Thanks for any help - I also routed via the private collection at Albert - very impressive museum - need to phone in advance though (and speak French would be ideal!)

To my knowledge there was only one M2000 being towed all day, nr.86 was towed from the maintenance area passed the flightline to ? around 8.55 and back the same way around 10.26

Gazelle was coded GEK. Easy to remember for dutch speakers ;)

Great day yesterday. Job well done for the organization.

The only disappointment was the recovery of the choppers. Although the Italians made an effort with a pass over the crowd the other choppers were very shy of the audience. With all the cancellations I was hoping some good Hind shots would make up for it... I was expecting a pass along the crowd line but I assume the tower didn't agree on this?

Suggestion for those going next week. If you bring a step ladder, take the tallest one you can find because you have to set it up 6 or 7 meters behind the crowd. Which makes not a lot of sense with a 2-step ladder. On the other hand it appeared there was room enough along the fence for everyone...

Hi all,

two years (NTM 2009) ago a special paint participated at NTM Kleine-Brogel. It was a Tornado from AG-51 with text "Last call". The story then was AG-51 would participate for the last time as the unit would stop to exist.

This year they sent a beautiful black Tiger scheme. Does this mean AG-51 is put back as an operational unit? Just curious.

Grtz,

Edward.

Not quite correct. IIRC only one of the two subordinate staffeln of AG51 was disbanded. The other staffel (squadron) of the geschwader (wing) is still operational.

Warren, this 6-ship choppers were the Puma, Tigre, 2 Hinds and 2 AB.212 from NTM. The Gazelle returned later.
Thanks for the confirmation of the towed Mirage2000, a new one for me!

On the route to Cambrai early morning we made a stop at Lille-Lesquin, that is next to the highway, to check out the Securite Civile helo. Hangar was empty and not outside. Maybe others have more luck coming days...
