Don't want to spoil things yet, but there might be a problem with storks in the neighbourhood of Zeltweg airbase during the airshow. There are some 25 storks breeding in the neighbourhood at the moment and a new colonie settled down as well, which they are trying to move away by attracting them with food and fake storks and so on. Officials are looking into this matter at the moment and there needs to be a solution for this problem before the airshow. Safety first they say (both for storks and airplanes). So hopefully they can get a stork friendly solution (shooting them is no option) before the airshow is taking place.
kind regards,
Hilco Schigt

Apparently they are hoping to get them to somewhere in the neighbourhood, instead from moving them from the neighbourhood. Right now, the birds are at the base itself, which makes it the big problem.
