The Klu wanted to cancel the Luchtmachtdagen 2011 but was told by the minister van Defensie Hans Hillen they are not to be cancelled.

Responding to the query about T-255, it may be in servce after all (for some time) since the two KDC-10s will be on the ground for soem time during their cockpit upgrade.

The static display of the German Do 228 has been taken off the official website, so not sure if that one's still coming.
Cheers,
Gideon

The German Do-228 and P-3 have been confirmed for more airshows, and cancelled again (Zeltweg, Fairford), so I am afraid they won't show up at Leeuwarden.

Up till now the Jordanian Hercs didn't attend the final European show of the Falcons, they dropped in a few days after it was finished to pick them up. They also need some time to prepare the Extras for shipping them back home, so I think they will not be at LWD during the show.

More updates from the official website.

Patrulla Aguila confirmed.
RNLAF DC-10 T-255 will be on static, probably one of the last chances to see this aircraft.

The participants just keep coming in:

There will be an Italian Air Force Alenia C-27J in the flying show. This is most likely the aircraft from the RSV mentioned earlier.
Also an Irish AW139 on static.

Both according to the official website.
Cheers,
Gideon
