The Klu wanted to cancel the Luchtmachtdagen 2011 but was told by the minister van Defensie Hans Hillen they are not to be cancelled.
Responding to the query about T-255, it may be in servce after all (for some time) since the two KDC-10s will be on the ground for soem time during their cockpit upgrade.

Re: Leeuwarden 2011 16 & 17 september
The static display of the German Do 228 has been taken off the official website, so not sure if that one's still coming.
Re: Leeuwarden 2011 16 & 17 september
The German Do-228 and P-3 have been confirmed for more airshows, and cancelled again (Zeltweg, Fairford), so I am afraid they won't show up at Leeuwarden.

Re: Leeuwarden 2011 16 & 17 september
There are rumors about Polish MiG-29 participation.

Re: Leeuwarden 2011 16 & 17 september
Up till now the Jordanian Hercs didn't attend the final European show of the Falcons, they dropped in a few days after it was finished to pick them up. They also need some time to prepare the Extras for shipping them back home, so I think they will not be at LWD during the show.Nielis wrote:Strong rumours

The participants just keep coming in:
There will be an Italian Air Force Alenia C-27J in the flying show. This is most likely the aircraft from the RSV mentioned earlier.
