Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Went back for a second "round" at runway 27. Conditions were sometimes simply bad, but I enjoyed the day and my emphasis today was seeing some frames.
This is the result :
2..D-ABLD Boeing 737-76J Air Berlin ( this bird made a "go around" and after 5 minutes landed safely )
3..TC-OAF Airbus A321-231 Onur Air
4..VP-BIG Boeing 747-46NF/ER/SCD AirBridgeCargo Airlines - ABC ( somebody "dimmed the light )
5..C-GITS Airbus A330-243 Air Transat
6..A6-ECK Boeing 777-31H/ER Emirates ( almost "cried" when the lights went "out" again )
7..N669US Boeing 747-451 Delta Air Lines
8..5Y-KQU Boeing 777-2U8/ER Kenya Airways ( I just.......love this bird and can't get enogh of her )
I hope you enjoyed the pics and thanks for taking a look; have a nice day !
Greetings,
Douwe

Even with this grey-ish weather still nice piccies Douwe!
See http://mst-aviation.nl/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=27604 taken yesterday at Maastricht. Okay, no sun, but a very interesting "action photo" nevertheless!4..VP-BIG Boeing 747-46NF/ER/SCD AirBridgeCargo Airlines - ABC ( somebody "dimmed the light )

C-GITS is the A330 that glided all the way to the Azores after a dual engine flame-out.

Air Transat's Airbus A330 C-GITS may be the record holder, but see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ai ... ed_gliding for other (not always very succesful) contenders...

Jeeha, back in business again
2 X-wind take-off
3 Taken fom the spotterplaats at 36L FullHD http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6142/603 ... 07d0_o.jpg
4 Not enough prop-blur. I couldn't adjust the aperture more as F/16 ( I hate using ND-filters, but next time I should ).
5 I like this one
6 Heavy crop @ 700mm
7
8 The action was there, the colours didn't..... ( banking away from 36L )
