Probably the stand is to small to carry all the invited spotters. Last time there were several standing in a special marked place at the fence. I can imagine one would prefer a small stepladder.

At these days atc has more things to do than to please some photographers.

IIRC you had an obstructed view in that direction due to trees and one or two E-ones.

Comparing with Gilze is a bit unfair, as that was an event with primary objective "please the spotters" (in which that one succeeded). This is about getting participants to the base.

Aanstaande donderdag is het zover: de spottersdag voor de Open Dagen. Het weer ziet er goed uit en het belooft een mooi dag te worden met aardig wat kisten. Iedereen wordt verzocht om op tijd te zijn bij de parkeerplaats (Fryslânplein) achter het FEC (de bussen beginnen te rijden vanaf 8.00 uur 's ochtends).

Let op: je hoeft geen trappen mee te nemen, ze kunnen niet mee.

Er is genoeg ruimte op de perstribune, deze is groter dan de vorige keer en er is dus genoeg ruimte voor iedereen. Dus doe geen moeite.

Als je er nu bent en je wilt om war voor reden dan ook al omstreeks 2 uur weg of zo, is dat ook mogelijk????
