Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Re: Leeuwarden airshow friday
Looking at all the wonderful photos, I can safely say that it was a great day. (Is this correct English or is it stonecoal English?).
On one of my Apache photos of Q-13 I noticed a word written on the tail: Lucky. Are the Redskins superstitious?

Re: Leeuwarden airshow friday
Lucky, wasn't that the name of a cat in a tvshow?
Great series of pictures, thank you all for sharing. Very good.
Leeuwarden turned out to be a very good show and a high quality of flying displays. A little addition to my previous contribution.

Re: Leeuwarden airshow friday
As a long time lurker I felt the time to share some photos I took on Friday.
Never posted any pics on this great section of the forum because of the high quality.
The real reason for sharing is that I need to improve my photography / editing skills, so I'm looking for some feedback.

Re: Leeuwarden airshow friday
He Remy,
On my screen your pics looks great, I don't know why you don't post here more often??
The only tip I can give you,(if I am right) Try to ed less sharpening in your editing , take a close look at the letters NH-424 in your 2nd pic.
I think that is the result off to much sharpening.
Hope you can use this tip.
cheers

Re: Leeuwarden airshow friday
A lot nice pictures have been posted here already, some I wished I'd made them. I'll try not to post much of the same but I can't guarantee it Later more pictures from the Saturday.

Your pictures are also high quality, so don't be a lurker from now on... What would you want to improve besides your sharpening skills... ?? Are you shooting with Nikon? Thought i saw some Nikon signature Your compositions are good, if you never posted before then you have looked and learned from previous posters... i would say use the tips mentioned before and carry on!!

Re: Leeuwarden airshow friday
@ Vinflyer, some original compositions, your editing has a kind of other view, its constant so carry on.. For me it's a bit too yellow,/greenish , could be your monitor?
@Joren, different stuff looks very good, very arty!
I have to say, compared to previous years there is a lot of high quality shots of the Open Days 2011, very nice to see all the shots and the nice atmosphere.. Bravo to all!!
