Holiday in Indonesia

Post by stipjes »

Hello,

I am spending my late summer holiday with my girlfriend in Indonesia. So far not to many a/c but hope to see some in Java.
When we arrived in Denpasar (Bali) this Gulfstream was shot during taxi, sorry for the quality;

An An.2 and Bo.105 were read off. I hope to put a log later.

In the northwest of Bali there is an small airfield with at gate guard, anyone for the serial? There is a school here with civil Cessna's.

After this Java (Jogyakarta).

Jeppum, PK-URA was the Bell and one week before I read an orange SAR Bolkow, the 1521. I will look next week if it is still the same one. Did you see the An.2?

Yep, the white AN-2 looked a bit military (?) and was parked between some busses.
That's the L-1821 of Skydive Bali. Kees
That is a pitty, I hope its a bit ex mil :-). Last week I visited Yogyakarta (now @ Lombok). We saw some nice a/c @ the museum. Later I will try to put some pics of operational a/c that flew around. I see that the photo's appear a bit yellow on my Indonesian Bagmafrax screen but hope its a local problem ;-). 1 Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 Image 5 Image 6 Image 7 Image 8 Image 9 Image 10 Image 11 Image 12 Image 13 Image

That Tu-16 must have one of the most tightly built roofcovers ever seen in an aviation museum... :shock:
Bad for photos of course, and it won't keep out much of the rain... :(

Never seen that Indonesian Jetstar before.
