I suppose it's the antenna for their in-flight connectivity.
It was not on the ex-Jet Airways aircraft, but it seems present on all of their own 777's.
Some info:

Thanks for the respons. That might be a good point there.....but it must be an optional thing, cause airliners flying with this T7 configuration is pretty rare. As a matter a fact, Turkish is the only one i have seen so far.....

I guess it's mostly for the live-tv part of the entertainment system.
A bit like the "JetBlue-bump": http://www.airliners.net/photo/JetBlue- ... fed4cffce4
They offer live-tv during the flight. I know the A320's are modified after delivery.
It seems TK's 777's are delivered from Boeing with everything installed: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XnZxqxG23kw/T ... livery.jpg

No idea about the bump/antenna on the back of the Turkish 777. The new CMA-2102SB antenna (SATCOM) is the (little bigger) one on the foreside. The small one on the back is also fitted at Korean Boeing 777's.

Live TV or antenna house?
