That specific KC-135R operated as BLUE 79 in today's Coronet East 002 74FS/23FG A-10 movement from LAPA-KVAD.

I know, João. But the angle of view in your shots is different. And so, I would like to post also YOUR shots on my blog. That would be great for the "Hog" history books, mostly powered by Warthog News since late 2008.

Six F-16 Trend-51 (from Show AFB) arr yesterday in the evening at LPLA from LIPA. Sup one KC-10.

According to Warthog News contributor André Inacio from Portugal, the last two 23rd Fighter Group A-10Cs on their way back home from Afghanistan arrived at Lajes Field, Azores, for stopover on October 29, 2011. A-10Cs 81-0947 and 81-0990, both from the 74th FS, touched down as Trend45 flight about 14:55pm (local time). The escorting tanker didn't land at Lajes and returned to Moron or another base. For two arrival shots, taken by André, please visit Warthog News or the associated fan page on Facebook.

The final two 23FG A-10s returned today (Friday November 4th) from Lajes to Langley AFB as Trend 45 flight.
