Seen (and photographed) at Moody AFB on 3rd May 2011 was C-27J 27010 - marked as "US ARMY".
My question is - is 07-27010 the full serial number? I can't find any other C-27J serial number that "fits" - but 07-27010 is an Air Force bird, not Army.
And it is clearly flying around with "US ARMY" on the fuselage - nothing on the tail but the serial number, no squadron markings. Nothing on the nose either.
Are Air Force C-27Js flying around with ARMY titles on them?

Re: REQ: C-27J 27010
I have seen the 27017 on Waco, Tx in april this year. Carrying US Army titles, 27018 was parked next to it but on the pictures I can't read the titles of that Spartan.

Re: REQ: C-27J 27010
They may not have changed the titles on them yet,but all the C-27 are Air Force birds, they did fly a few of them out of Redstone Aaf when the Army was testing them, now they are based at Robins Afb for the C-27J School.
Re: REQ: C-27J 27010
Thanks so I assume this to be the 07-27010 then. The way they're going with the budget cuts, I would not be surprised if they're going to be out of service soon.
