You could actually see the airfield from your hotel roof? In which hotel did you stay and how many mm's are we talking about?

The hotel was Aida Verdi and the pic was taken with a non-DSLR. It was a Fujifilm Finepix S5000, exif says 57mm.SquAdmin wrote:You could actually see the airfield from your hotel roof? In which hotel did you stay and how many mm's are we talking about?
But the hotel is pretty close to the airport. I saw some C-130's and F-16's aswell, but as you can see a lot of heat haze(offcourse ).

i have been in Hurgharda in november 2011 as well... and was luck to see some Mig's/F-7's in takeoff... and what goes up must come down
btw this was not the hotel but straight on the fence...

Nice pic, looking forward to see some more, or maybe not, I might regret that I didn't went up the roof of the hotel some more !

I'm not an expert on Soviet hardware, but it should be noted that the MiG-21's in snipes's picture are of a different type than Dino's. Dino's F7/J7 is based on an early version of the MiG-21, I believe the MiG-21F-13, with the smaller tail and smaller engine intake etc. Dino's MiG-21's are later version MiG-21MF or -21bis, or the like.

Nice shots. I was there last May, but both my arrival and departure were in darkness...
