Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM/AMS) 5-2-2012.......or EGLL/LHR?
Now here's something you don't see every day @ SPL,
1
2
3
Had already missed 1 BA 744 and 1 BA 777 before this one. When I left there were 3 BA 744's and 1 BA 777. Guess Heathrow had some winter problems??
4 Also not a regular on sundays if I'm not mistaken?
Some others
5
6
7 Did not know ABC was sending it's first 747-8 to SPL. No wonder why there were so many spotters in the freezing weather. Luckely just arrived when it took off. Only at home I realized I had shot my first 747-8
And then the sun even came out for a moment

Time to unfreeze with a good whiskey. Cheers!

Looks like lots of people were out there today..... Did someone (accidentally) made pics with a KLC tow in it? Maybe on the background in another pic, or foreground.......

Sorry, no tows for me.
Nice to see someone actually caught a landing BA 747, I guess most of us were hanging around runway 24 around that time.
Here are some of my other shots from today (#1-#7 in the 748F topic)

Good job guys, good to see so many people turn up despite the weather.
1. Clearing the runway for the company 748.
2.
3.
4. Long waiting paid of. She was quiet but looked very nice.
5. The Queen of the skies is back!
6. Quick stop at 18R hoping that there were more diversions comming. Unfortunately there weren't.
7. Temperature difference between Dubai and Amsterdam is around 30 degrees Celcuis.

Re: Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM/AMS) 5-2-2012.......or EGLL/LHR?
Glad to see I wasn’t the only ‘idiot’ to go into the freezing cold to capture a 747-8 that we’ll probably see lots of times in the future
#1 Anticipation for the first 747-8F take-off…
#2 Lift-off!…
#3 Very, very quiet engines indeed!…
#4 Didn’t want to think about football today (0-2, snif…)
#5 SkyWork Do328
#6 Contact F100 in Star colours, on the Swiss flight
#7 The prettiest MD-11 today
#8 Korean 747-400F, I like!
#9 Made a quick stop at Lelystad for a chat and a photo

Did someone take a picture of the PH-BGI a simple and humle 737-700 landing at 18R around 11:10 (10:10Z)? Thank you very plenty!
