Belgian Internation Airshow - Florennes 23/24 June

Has it changed that much from the past? I remember the flightlines as being in front of the eastern hangars (near spot 7 on the Scramble map), and being able to photograph aircraft taxying from/to them from the part of the shelter area that was open to the public in those days; I got my only Irish Fougas that way, so yes, I haven't been to an Open Door there for ages, so... please enlighten us!

€ 40 for a ticket that allows for entry on Friday and Monday; entry is from the north side (Corenne) and spotting location is given as "100 metres from the runway"; possibly also on the north side of the runway?

For the last TLP spotters day they bussed us from the northside of the runway to a spot on the southside so I guess they may do the same again this time.

You have had to pay 40€ during the last airshow spottersday, as well. I guess they've offered u two drinks incl. a barbecue or something like that incl. the spot near the runway!! I spoke to a few friends which joined the spottersday in 2008; they said it wasn't worth the money!!
But you'll never know............

At least the amount of spotters is not limited like in France or other countries. The Euro 40,00 is for two days. Friday arrival and rehearsel day and monday departure day. The only worry I have is on which side of the runway the spotters will be positioned?

Or you combine it with Evreux. Friday and Monday Florennes and Airshow at Evreux on Saturday and Sunday, maybe?!

I'm planning to visit the airshow as a regular visitor. So i won't be there at the special spotterdays. Because I haven't got a car, I travel with public transport. Shouldn't be a major problem, from Charerloi to Florennes there is a TEC busline.
As there is no info on the official page about transport other than car... Can anyone tell me where the main entrance is on saterday of sunday? At the northside (walkable) of south (small problem)?
Or will there be a busshuttle from a nearby NMBS-trainstation as in Holland?

According to the Dutch Hawker Hunter Foundation, they will be there on both days. Not confirmed on the airshow website (yet) though.
