Some pictures made in China recently:
Shanghai aviation enthousiast park, nice little museum, easy accesible by subway and the entrance is free.
For good pictures better go in the morning when the backlight isn't so horrible
Dongfeng-102, early development of the Shenyang J6
Harbin Z5, based on the Mi-4
Il14, in the background a ex-JAL DC8
Shenyang J5, second in lin a Mig 15UTI

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Chinese text: Hier werk je veilig of werk je niet At the old Longhua airport in shanghai, area is now a construction site, the planes are parked under a roof and look in horrible shape, there is no access except by looking through the gate

29-01-12 Datangshan, near Beijing, Amazing place, they probably have everything that has ever flown in China, and not just one example but 2 or 10 or 20!
Some are restored, some look like they landed 30 years ago and never looked back. It's huge and you can easily spend an entire day here.
A small selection:
Curtiss Commandoes Li-2 Y5 on floats Mi-8 Q5B Tupolev 214
