You must have very good eyes (to read that on my poor scan)! Thanks for the correction!Stephan Lodewijks wrote:It's not a SV.4C, but a SV.4B (it's also marked as such on its tail: 'S.V.4' in large print, followed by a very small 'B').wvanbel wrote:The lovely SV-4C
Nice shots!

Wow, nice Rob! I also started my hobby a few months before Eindhoven open day. I remember these two birds arriving in Eindhoven via overhead my 'middelbare school' in Veldhoven. A sight and sound not to forget!!
(they didn't howl so much by the way...the Germans used modified/different exhausts by then)

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
Hi Oscar, Stephan: 1986 was a good spottersyear for me, I took a lot of pics (slides)at Chièvres, Kleine Brogel and Welschap/Eindhoven; 1986 was also my 20th anniversary, because my first photos were taken in 1966, like this one

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
Although it's not a pic from the 70's, it's a nice pic of a great aircraft! Too bad these old ladies are around fewer and fewer...

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
Thanks Rob, for reactivating my favourite topic with one of my alltime favourite (but never seen...) aircraft.
