Hm, hm, ...
Maybe something like the Hkp5 and Hkp6 that are operating in Sweden on behalf of the Flygvapenmuseum

Earlier there was an information that Viggen never will flying. Now it is in the list flying on an air show. Whether there was really a flying sample? Can be at any Swedish forums there was an information?

Does anyone know where the public area/static display will be situated and how the shooting opportunities are for the flying display?

Cheers,

Cheers,
Two years ago, the 01-19 runway was used for the fighters and transports.
The warbirds used runway 08-26.
The south eastern corner was the aera for the public, although I did also see a lot of people in the south western corner.
Nice taxi shots can be made, although for the aerial display and on the runway/taxiway you are facing the sun part of the day, part of the time.

Static was not too bad, especially some of the flying aircraft (Draken, Hunter, some helicopters) were placed quite good for photos. Some of the museum/preserved aircraft were without any fencing, so these were very difficult to photograph 'clean'. You may have a better chance with those early or late in the afternoon (because of rain late in the afternoon, I left the field early then).
I got many nice shots of the helicopters, when they arrived after the display. Most of them were parked near the 26 (eastern) side of rwy 08-26.

Does this mean the main crowd is below the 08-26 on the eastern side of the 01-19? From images on the web I thought the main crowd was possitioned north-west of the field on the helo ramps below the museum, just north of the 08? Also, can you advise what the display line is, 08-26 or 01-19?

Thanks again!

Last time the static was northeast, but (many) carparks were southeast in the grass along the runway. You had to walk from the southeast to the northeast to get to the static and this path lead you underneath the approach. I am not a photographer, but I think very decent shots could be made from near that approach.

Seems to be canceled. It would probably be one of the HAW C-17's, maybe it isn't available anymore due to operational requirements?
