I asked a question in the KLM speculeer topic approximately three weeks ago about Miami, and user MAS017 replied:

Misschien dat DELTA het gaat overnemen was nu al code-share met DL...

Zoals al eerder vermeld: de reserverings-systemen ijlen altijd na; vroeg of laat worden de KL0627/8 passagiers overgeboekt (is altijd beter dan nu alles al 'af te houden')...

MXP was ook nog een tijdje te boeken ook nadat bekend was dat er alleen nog naar LIN zou worden gevlogen...

I still find it strange the route is still bookable nearly four months after its cancellation. Normally airlines stop reservations on axed routes days or weeks after announcing the news, which is in my opinion fair to customers. Maybe KLM is evaluating the number of bookings and will decide to go ahead or cancel AMS-MIA later this summer. The Delta code-share is also still active for this route and it is also loaded in the MIA timetable.

Vlucht staat niet meer in het KLM vloot en crewsysteem (al enige maanden!!!); denk dat KLM de reserveringssystemen open houdt omdat DL de route wil/gaat overnemen...

Transavia has released the schedule for its new service AMS-DXB-AMS starting Winter 2012-2013:

- HV 6902 - dep. Dubai 17:50 - arr. Amsterdam 00:45 - B737 - Mon, Thu

Interesting to see that HV also lists Erbil as a destination on its route map, but this city does not appear in its reservations yet.

Same airline however Jetair houses the Fokker 100 and Saab 2000 and Express seems to be A320 only

easyJet has announced a new route for Winter 2012-2013, NCL-AMS-NCL.

This will be in addition to the new Summer routes SEN-AMS-SEN and LIS-AMS-LIS, which will also be operated for the 1st time this Winter.

Jet2 operated NCL-AMS-NCL in competition with KLM for several years before pulling off the route.

KLM plans to launch a dedicated AMS-KUL-AMS flight in Winter 2012:

- KUL dep. 09.20 - arr. AMS 15.20 KL812 B747Combi Tue, Thu, Sun

This service is in addition to the regular daily B777 AMS-KUL-JKT-KUL-AMS.
