Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nice!

About the Belgian Vinger-pilot: I suggest he pays the spotters a visit to apologize...

As you know the Belgian vipers are from 'the first squadron', so only one finger. :P

agree, it really is a shame that a pilot of my former "home" base and my favourite Belgian squadron shows such a behavior ... I should change my avatar?

That Norwegian F-16 shot is very nice! A lot of other good shots on here too, looks like it's going to be a good ex!

Maybe we are judging to early. Quite a normal way of greeting, maybe from the perspective of the first BAF F-16 picture it looks like the long finger ?

Edit: No, i'm sorry, it's indeed the long finger. But the pilot isn't that bad, that's what I would like to say with my picture.

He's obviously giving the horn sign. Which is completely logical considering he's flying heavy metal ;-)

Ah, yes, you provide a rather different perspective, literally speaking...

Indeed, the "horns' sign". Not a gesture one has to apologize for, at least not to spotters!

My question to some photographers who are always complaining about everything and think they are god because they think that airforces have to do what they want is. What would be the problem when a pilot makes the long finger to some photographers.

Very interesting question! Are you familiar with Jan P. Balkenende? He used to speak about "normen en waarden". Obviously there are pictures showing the middle finger and there are pictures showing the "horns" sign. Whatever the pilot did... it did not look polite. It's probably a big mistake and no harm is done. :bday:

And hey... if he was having a bad day, next time do a really low approach with a lot of noise! He will feel a lot better, and so do we. We the photographers who think we are God.
