B-25 is still on the list!

Annoying about the MiG 3, hoping that's a typo!

Most of all, pity about that Israeli F-15 :( Iran is probably getting nervous already, that's one 'safe' weekend less.
Tickets will be distributed by means of a quiz it seems... This ought to be interesting.

Just took a look at ukar.co.uk lots of new information there regarding acces for the general public and tickets.

I'm still a bit worried though for non-russian citizens, hopefully that will also turn out allright.

Apparently indeed some 100.000 tickets will be handed out.
To claim yours, you have to go to http://www.100letvvs.ru/?r=ticket&

First you have to answer five questions, in Russian.... but the answers are:
Q1 - Answer A: 12 августа 1912 года
Q2 - Answer C: Кузнечик
Q3 - Answer B: Истребитель
Q4 - Answer A: Истребители оперативно-тактического назначения
Q5 - Answer C: Чакра Фролова

Then you have to give your personal information, resp. Family name, First name and Patronymic (second) name. All three are mandatory!

Last you need to give your passport ID; unfortunately it looks like it is designed specific for Russian passports , which apparently only consists of numbers (a series number and a sequence number) .....

If all succeeds, you will get a unique code. You need to print this page with that code, and with this printout you have to collect your actual ticket at some kind of outlet, for which addresses will be published later.

Good luck!

11:01 5x Su-27SM3, 8x MiG-29SMT, 8x Su-25SM, VVS - In the form of
the number '100' (Chkalovskiy/Krymsk, Kursk, ??).

18:29 5x Su-27SM3, 8x MiG-29SMT, 8x Su-25SM, VVS - In the form of
the number '100' (Chkalovskiy/Akhtubinsk).
Do you also think all planes of the 100-formation are flying from Chkalovskiy, but are normally based on other airfields like Krymsk or Kursk?
Is there someone going to Chkalovskiy these days?

Thanks,
Felix

As far as I am aware, those aircraft will all be flying from Chkalovskiy; they are already detached there for a couple of weeks or so for training. See also the post of cis from last week.

Hi Felix,

Yes, according to the information I have, on Friday there will be a rehearsal day, apparently with the same schedule as on Saturday and Sunday.

Hey guys

First time post , thanks for the help I by happy accident found out about the display only yesterday and was going crazy trying to work out how to get tickets. I am now awaiting my unique code

Can I ask any of the posters here for one more bit of help? and please feel free to move my post else where, I was wondering how one goes about visiting Monino Museum? I have tried several diffrent tours but all have said there are no spaces available, I know I need to give advanced warning but I have no way of contacting the museum, can any posters here help?

Hi Butch,

Their website; http://www.monino.ru
Mail address; info@monino.ru
Phone: +7 (0)95 526-33-27

My personal experience (although this is a couple of years ago), they don't react to mails though, but usually there is somebody around who speaks at least a bit of English when you decide to call them.
I'm not sure what the current status is about visiting the museum; it is on and off whether you need to register beforehand or not ;-)

If you want to visit Monino museum individually it's easy. You have to reach the underground station Partizanskaia. Just to it is situated a bus station. You have to catch bus Nr.322 and get off at ,,Academy Gagarin" bus stop. The museum is in the forest about 1 km walking from the bus stop.
