Belgrade - Aeronautical Museum (BEG/LYBE)
The contents of the storage compound were checked on 01Sep12. There have been some new arrivals - four J-20s - but otherwise they are much the same as they have been for many years. Comments about replacements below relate to the information in Jurgen’s very helpful post from 2009: http://forum.scramble.nl/viewtopic.php? ... de#p351660.
It is possible to walk around the outside of the fence here, and this is essential in order to see everything.
Row 1 (Perpendicular to the road, back row):

24418 IJ-21
(24214) J-21
24128 J-21

(60157) SOKO 522 derelict fuselage
60204 SOKO 522 derelict fuselage
Row 5 (Parallel to the road, middle row). Two J-20s have appeared in this row, while the Mi-2s and the F-84G forward fuselage are at the other end compared to the 2009 list:
(10501) F-84G
12506 Mi-2
12514 Mi-2

25118 J-22
30109 J-20
Area 6. Was row 6 which was parallel to the road, front row; better described as area adjacent to staff car park, between Row 5 and the museum building):
(24)001 J-21 fuselage
(23629) G-4
23636 G-4
Area 7 (Adjacent to road):
YU-AHB Caravelle
30145 J-20
(30147) J-20 dark camo
(30148) J-20 silver, ‘Memphis’ titles
30157 J-20
Area 8 Cannot reconcile this against Google Earth maps, but contents have been dispersed, the J-20s to Rows 4 and 5 and the SOKO 522 to Row 3.
Area 9 (Adjacent to museum steps). Three additional J-20s have appeared here:
(YU-BMX) M-18 dismantled
10600 F-84G rear fuselage and tail
(YU-BGL) Z-37A dismantled
11054 F-86E tail
YU-CZA Aero 3 dismantled (ex-40186)

..... J-20 ‘Militia 03’ titles, fuselage on undercarriage; ex Kraljevo-Trstenik
..... J-20 unmarked, fuselage on undercarriage, almost certainly the fourth J-20 noted at Kraljevo-Trstenik in 2009.
Area 10 (Between Row 3 and Area 6):

12512 Mi-2
23512 NJ-21

(30155) J-20 dark camo
Area 11 (Against the southern fence, behind white DC-3):
(10530) F-84G no tail
(11054) F-86E fuselage
11088 F-86E
(1)7(4)02 MiG-21bis
Finally, a two-seat Jastreb fuselage on a jig was seen in the staff car park. As the tail had been removed, it was not possible to identify it; a candidate would be NJ-21 23505, present in Row 2 in 2009 but not noted by us.

Not sure this was reported before, but the wreck of F-117A 82-0806/HO was also in this aera, lying very close to the museum. Tailcode HO was clearly visible.
Answers will be questioned.....

That ties in nicely with the list on the museum's website (or is that the source of the information?)AndyMarden wrote:The other two J-20s should therefore be 30101 and 30114.

24159 I can confirm. It had the code 159 on the nose
From the 24214 I can confirm the last digit, the 4
24155 I can confirm. It had the code 155 (very faded) on the nose
Row 2:
24405. Confirmed. From one side clearly visible
24126. Confirmed. Serial Faded but readable
24142. I can confirm. It had the code 142 (very faded) on the nose
Row 4:
Serials of the 25721 and 25724 confirmed. Faded but readable.
Area 7:
30147 is confirmed. Had the serial very small just before the windscreen
30148 also confirmed. Serial readable from at least one side
Area 10:

@CBR. I have the same problem with this one. The only thing I see that it's looks like it was the digit "3" on the tailboom.

Re: Belgrade - Aeronautical Museum (BEG/LYBE)
Is this one actually read-off or does the serial came from EMOOS?51145 UTVA 66 dismantled
Because next to two UTVA-66 were 2 pairs of wings, one with the serial 104 on it!

Regards,
Yes 530 was clearly visible on the nose of the F-84G. But my reply to CBR was about the picture of the J-20 he posted. It looks like there is also a 3 on the tailboom.

Re: Belgrade - Aeronautical Museum (BEG/LYBE)
Comparing this list with my logs and Google Earth for the location of every single aircraft leaves me with a few questions:
* 3 unidentified J20s:
- one marked "Militia 03";
- one unmarked, pic posted by CBR, Michiel read the digit 3 on tailboom;
- one unmarked in row4 near the dismanteled UTVA 52101.
Andy and the museum website give 30101 and 30114; at one point we read off 30136 (Michaels "3"?)
Who is who?
* where was F-84G 10501? Has anyone phisicaly seen it, read off or photographed it?
I can't find it on my pics (plenty taken), nor can i find it on the latest Google Earth picture. Earlier GE pics showed it behind the Mi-2s but its not there anymore, at least on my pics. Strange thing is that i noted 3 seen, but that area was a bit of a mess.
* SOKO 522 60204 had WWII Luftwaffe markings on its fuselage, some kind of movie bird?
* Does someone have a pic of NJ21 23505 when it was still in row 2, on the same spot as where 24457 is now?
To compare it with the NJ21 fuselage in the staff parking.
Cheers,
Perry
