This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Thanks for all the nice comments! I am afraid nothing will beat the H6! The H6 and the Z8 are the reason why I am here .Wilfried wrote:I'm wondering what could beat the H-6!
Thats why today I wanted to go to the carrier Minsk but when I saw that most a/c have fake serials and no c/n's (I only heard) I decided (after a long sleep) to go to the airport again. I arrived late but just in time to see the Russian Knights come in. The Chinese were laughing very hard because of the non Russian Knight Sukhoi. They said that Russia is running out of money and piant. Ik think they will put this one on static display. The weather was hazy hence the grey-ish pics.
The brought one dual.
And transport. Before arrival it joined a formation flight with the five Sukhoi's.
An unexpected surprise was the CRJ200 that brought in some officers.
This ant eater look alike closed the day.
Today I decided tomorrow is my last day here. Most a/c I photographed ok now, I did not expect that and originally planned to stay the whole next week. After tomorrow I probably travel to Shanghai or another nice city with aircraft musea .
And thanks Steef and Peter for all the help!
Greetz,

wow, some nice hardware you've captured there, but the Xian H-6 really takes the cake
I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

Re: China pics,a little trip(Beijing & Zhuhai) monday practi
Great pictures Patrick. Will be there myself on theweekend and Monday + Tuesday for departures.
You mentioned you traveled to Shanghai. You may want to consider going to Qingdao as well. The Navy museum has 21 ac, though photography is a bit difficult. If you take the ferry to Huangdao (7 RMB single) you pass by the naval base wherethe 3 remaining SH5s flying boats are parked. 300 mil should ive you a nice group picture... Can't show any as I am still analog
cheers Peter

With 3 SH5s visible my guess is that one was flying........CJ wrote:Great pictures Patrick. Will be there myself on theweekend and Monday + Tuesday for departures.
