At Facebook I read that they are organising the "10th anniversary Airport Weeze / Air Show". In the past we had some great airshows at Weeze with interesting military and civil aircraft.

um zehnten Jahrestag lädt der Airport die deutsche und niederländische Region rund um den Flughafen am 25. und 26. Mai zu einer riesigen Party ein.
Hauptattraktion auf dem Airport - Eventgelände ist die große „Airshow“ mit rund 40 historischen Flugzeugen, modernen Militärjets und spektakulären Flugvorführungen.
Zu den einzigartigen Events am Himmel gehören die „Wingwalker“ Artisten, die bei atemberaubenden Flugmanövern als Passagiere auf den Tragflächen großer Doppeldecker mitfliegen. Erstmals zum Airport – Festival wird auch ein riesiges Catalina - Flugboot in Weeze erwartet. Angekündigt hat sich auch ein 25-köpfiges Fallschirmspringer – Team, das an den beiden Festivaltagen mit historischen Rundfallschirmen über dem Airport abspringen wird.
Wer selber abheben will, kann mit einem der beiden viersitzigen Helikopter zu einem Rundflug starten.
Auch der Linienflugbetrieb, der während des zweitägigen Airport - Festivals weitergeht, ist vom Eventgelände aus zu besichtigen: An den beiden Festivaltagen können die Veranstaltungsbesucher aus nächster Nähe rund 80 Passagierjets starten und landen sehen.

the RAF will send 2 Typhoons, manned by 29 Sqn.
The GAF will send 1 Tornado IDS. We expect it out of Büchel.
We are still in talk with some other participants.

On the Weeze Airport website I can't find anything about parking, entrance etcetera. Only times..

a Tornado IDS of our AG-51 will take part as well.

To make it clear. 2 FGR.4s and one Tornado out of Schleswig. I expected one fm Büchel, but the GAF decided to send it from our AG51.
I really fought for more mil participants, esspecially out of UK. But I am very happy to got those 3 jets, as we are a civ base. We are still in talk with some mils, but I don´t like to spread rumors. No wish list....because that would be to long
We were so close to get an A-10 before all things changed with the US forces, as an exsample.
Ask Ed. Even for the big Volkel show it seems to be difficult to get confirmations of more mils.
I will try to park those few in a special postion for good photos with a clear background...., if those are willing to support....

Hello everyone who's interested in the Airshow:
The show is 25 and 26 May from 11:00 till 19:00, tickets adults € 6,50 / kids free / parking ticket € 2,00. The address to navigate to is: Alte Zollstrasse in Weeze
There will be a big airshow with 40 historical airplanes, military airplanes and the - for the most of us wellknown - the Catalina. And the Breitling wingwalkers are present.

It would be nice when it is Saturday into the early morning.

Hallo,
sad news out of UK. The Typhoons will not come.
I tried hard but no chance for any alternative aircraft from the RAF.

The Tornado and Mirage will arrive on Friday after 1200 lcl. Beside these jets we expect, if weather is VMC, the Catalina, Ov-10, 2 Stearman, Extra300, Yak3U on Friday until 1800 lcl.
The rest will come Saturday fm 0800 until 1200 lcl, if weather is VMC.
