Req: identity of AH-64A at Volkel 1989

Post by the MDman »

This AH-64A Apache was displayed on the KLU Open Days at Volkel 1989.

Is there anyone who can help me on the registration code of this particular helicopter?

Are you sure it was Volkel 1989 instead of Volkel 1995?

Hans.

I must have made a mistake with the HTML-code, hence the absence of the picture. I do remember the Apache, along with a Black Hawk and a Cobra were present on Friday, the day prior to the open day. That day we had the opertunity to take a seat in all the helicopters.

Alleen op Deelen 1988 en Eindhoven 1993 zijn m.i. tegelijkertijd een AH-1, een UH-60 en een AH-64 geweest...
1988 EHDL:
68-15092 AH-1F
84-24263 AH-64A
81-23589 UH-60A

1993 EHEH:
68-17088 AH-1F
87-00413 AH-64A
89-26153 UH-60A

Thanks,
Nu begin ik te twijfelen of het toch niet Deelen 1988 is geweest. Nog maar eens alle foto's van toen gaan bekijken.

I remember standing (at Deelen 1998) approximately 1 meter from the tail of the Cobra, and still not able to read the serial ! :)
Rows of Cobra's at Mainz-Finthen, completely unreadable. But still I've got this superb view in my mind !
