The week prior to the spottersday will it be business as usual at the Wittmund base???I'm talking Monday-Thursday the 24-27th? I'm wondering if there will be normal flying operations in case I arrived early before the 28/29 events to take some pictures from outside the base??

Contrary to our actual intention we now have to announce a registration deadline for the spotterday.
It's Tuesday 04/30/13. Requests thereafter cannot be accepted for organizational reasons.

Would not count on that whishfull thinking... Even the organization now states not to expect American participations:falcon wrote: Who said it will be SP examples? maybe there is a TDY this summer in Europe with Stateside Hogs...?!
Let's wait and see what USAF will send to the Phantom Pharewell....

Leider schlechte Nachrichten aus der Amerikanischen Ecke. Höchstwahrscheinlich keine Teilnahme der amerikanischen Flugzeuge. Des weiteren kein NH 90 und auch kein Tiger.

Hello everyone, I was told that the gate per day spotter, will open at 12 noon. But in doing so, they lose the arrivals of the media in the early morning??

Efa, can you please specify your question, because I think I am not the only one who doesn't understand what you want to know?
