He means the airfield is open for departing aircraft not open for public.

Yes indeed, thanks for clearing that up.Sleegertje wrote:He means the airfield is open for departing aircraft not open for public.
Normally it is possible to go where you need to go to get pictures from the outside.

Evening All, never been to an Airshow in the Netherlands before but the line up is just too tempting. Planning to stay in Eindhoven and get the train to Oss and catch the shuttle bus to the show (on Friday).
Please can anyone give me any tips on what time the shuttle buses start or what time the gates open and close?
Also is the flying display start/finish time known? Bit concerned that I may not have time to watch all of the flying and get a good look around the static. Basically any tips on Volkel will be greatfully received.
Thanks and regards
Nick

If you stay in Eindhoven, catch a bus from Eindhoven to Uden Busstation. From there you can get on a shuttlebus to the show. Normally gates open at 8.00Ex Stacker wrote:Evening All, never been to an Airshow in the Netherlands before but the line up is just too tempting. The news of the BO105s is from the Twitter page of the RNLAF: one flying Bo-105 from Heeresfliegerausbildungszentrum C. https://twitter.com/luchtmachtdagen

For those interested, at Google Play Store there is an app for Android available, called LMD13.
It shows the participants, a map, the program and much more.
Quite fancy, if I may say.
