Re:
I wonder if this is the same Robert Anderson. Anyone here know of Capt. Robert David Anderson? He was involved in a F4 crash outside of Parker Arizona off Shea Road on October 22nd 1975. His co-pilot did not survive but Anderson did. If you might have any info for me it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to get in contact with him about the crash. The crash to this day is still there after nearly 40 years.

I did some research and found this about the mig kills on this F-4C...
On April 23rd 1967,Maj. Robert D. Anderson and Capt. Fred D. Kjer downed a MiG-21 using an AIM-7 Sparrow missile near Hanoi. On May 22nd 1967 Lt.Col. Robert F. Titus with 1Lt. Milan Zimer as his "GIB" ad led "Wander" flight on a MiGCAP for an F-105 strike against Ha Dong barracks and a supply depot in Hanoi and downed two MiG-21s,one with AIM-9 Sidewinder missile and the second with 20mm fire from the centerline SUU-16 gun pod.

Re: Tribute to the F-4 Phantom
Hey, nice pics everyone.
Maurits, is that my take off pic from the 2 Turkish Phantoms @ ETAD?
That was a great day.
Too bad we're About to loose the German Phantoms soon!
Really like the variety and colourschemes in this topic.

On April 8th 1987, at the end of a rotation at Kleine Brogel between 23 smaldeel and Ala 122 with F4C's, this C.12-34 made a testflight before returning home. This is ex USAFE 640907/WR.

Re: Tribute to the F-4 Phantom
Ouch, that hurts. Never seen these in motion, while my spotting "career" had been underway for 9 years when that happened so close to home ... Great shot!!H. van Eupen wrote:On April 8th 1987, at the end of a rotation at Kleine Brogel between 23 smaldeel and Ala 122 with F4C's, this C.12-34 made a testflight before returning home.
