You can also stay outside at the fence until all visitors have arrived in the morning and then enter the spottersday. So say around 14.00 hour.

I never read that gates will be closed. Only opening at 12.00 hour and spottersday ends at 16.30 hour.

+1

Also, parking and getting on the field has changed, so no waiting for busses...

Reliable sources state that the current status (last Wednesday) is that the Turkish F-4s will not come.

38+64 doesn't have the "Golden Comet" anymore. Saw it on the 5th of june without the zap.

RDAF T17 (which is the most important aircraft on static display) has 1110-1115 slot time. The rest of the aircraft are unimportant.

Hi All
Can some of our German speaking friends confirm from the Wittmund website that Jever will be used as a carpark for the openday? with a shuttle bus running from there.. I guess this maybe a chance to see some of the stuff outside/on Jever

Thanks Paul

Paul,
you're right, Jever is one of 7 parking-locations with shuttle-service to Wittmund.

Gerard
