Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Wow !!! Great set of pictures everyone.

In my opinion this event sure beats the Tigermeet. Nice to read the turkish also know how to please " us " spotters.

Indeed very, very nice pictures everyone! The location gives some really nice atmosphere to them. Must have been a great experience...

Great photos y'all, and with much better weather than in Norway (as could be expected...).

What really surprises me is that heathaze and high sun position (hard light) does not seem to be an issue, even in June, while Turkey is rather southerly and probably hot too. Or are most photos taken during the early morning/late afternoon?

Hi Joost, pictures were taken during the day. We were offered positions quite close to the runway and taxiway, so heat haze was not really a problem.

Hi Joost,

The first wave is about 10 oclock in the morning till 11:45 so good light. The second wave is about 16:00 till 19:00 so also good light.
The people on the base will drive you to the best position for photos just ask.
