Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Orland Tiger Meet Airshow - 22/06/13
If you were not there, let me tell you this : Well done !
The day was just a big Water Symphony without any breaks and I can't remember seeing anything flying above 140 feet
1.
2. In case you wonder --> the black part is due to high shutter speed
3.
4.
5.
6. See how the people down there are dressed ? what a day.
7. for the background story, this canard paint scheme is inspired by a bigger artwork from an australian artist. The only sunshine of the day.
8. low-interest pix ... except a) the new spherical infrared missile warning system (DDM NG) and b) the white paint rubbing off
9. Tiger Alley

Nice set and a different approach to aviation photography.Katabatik wrote:If you were not there, let me tell you this : Well done !

And I actually like the c/s of the Gripen, also quite different than all the other Tigers.

You certainly made the best of it. Very nice pics! We are 'enjoying' lots of rain here today in the Netherlands. Hope it will be better at Wittmund in a couple a days!

It started raining on friday after lunch, and as far as I know it's probably still raining. Most of the flying yesterday was cancelled due to the low clouds and poor visibility. At one point you couldnt even see the other side of the airfield.VinFlyer wrote:So it was worse then last year? It makes for creative photos I must say

So that's why I decided not to visit any NTM in Norway..... it's such a pitty that the Tiger Meet in Portugal (Monte Real) was cancelled. Hope next year it will be somewhere south in Europe.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Nice to know the 2014 Tiger Meet will be at Sleswig-Jagel. I visited the 2004 Tiger Meet at Sleswig and this was well organized, including nice weather .
