Re: Marseille-Provence (LFML/MRS) - 2013
I will be interested by the serial number / code of the Alouette 3 in French Army c/s and titles stored at Boussiron area and seen on May, 10 (photoproof)...
Also the serial number of the EC130 preserved on a roundabout at the Airport entrance (photoproof)
Thanks a lot to all

Re: Marseille-Provence (LFML/MRS) - 2013
16-7-2013 (between 12:15 and 15:00)
visiting:
UR-82029 An-124 Antonov Design Bureau
ZH874 Hercules C4 RAF
EC-LHJ AT-802 Avialsa T35
EC-LMV AT-802 Avialsa T35
Both Air Tractors were operating or exersising from Marseille and flew several missions in the area. The Antonov and the Hercules both arrived during the afternoon.
Locals Securité Civile:
EC145 : F-ZBQF
S-2T : 07
DHC-8 : 73, 74
CL-415: 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 38, 39, 48 + 2 unread
Eurocopter:
7443 / F-ZWDT AS550C3 Thai Army black c/s test flight
7484 / F-ZWDU AS550C3 Thai Army black c/s test flight
FA-633 / F-ZW?? AS532AL Albanian Air Force test flight
F-WGYP EC130T2 Eurocopter test flight
???? / F-WWXJ AS350/550 primer test fligt
On the platform about 7 or 8 EC120's and 2 Ecureuils in primer, all unidentified.
Towards the Eurocopter the following could be seen from left to right:
? S. Puma primer
JA68.A AS332 Japan Coast Guard.
? NH90 Aeronavale
? NH90 sand or primer
? Tigre sand or primer
Spent the hottest afternoon of the family holiday on la butte at Marseille. Any help filling some of the gaps would be appreciated. Expecially the identity of the Japanese Super Puma. This one was in full colors, missing the code/serial under the end of the tailboom. The heatwaves make reading the pics I took very hard. I would say 685 but the last digit can also be a 3 or 6.

Hi Mazzel ,
We did read the Thai Army '7443' also as F-ZWDT, but are you sure that the 7484 was also wearing the same test registration???
Thanks for report,
PilotoRico

7484 is F-ZWDU, unless it has been changed.

Re: Marseille-Provence (LFML/MRS) - 2013
oops, typo. I did read F-ZWDU and matched this to 7484 based on earlier sightings. Corrected.
Re: Marseille-Provence (LFML/MRS) - 2013
FA-633 = F-ZWBE
JA-68.A = probably JA-689A that was noted on the 18th and the week before (plus a 2nd one in final assembly hall, the 3rd one on order not seen)
The An-124 arrived to pick up 2 NZ NH-90s (NZ3305 & 3306) the next day for delivery.

USS Harry S. Truman stays until Friday 09/08:

Anyone with good suggestions regarding nearby spots for photography? Google Streatview doesn't offer much possibilities...

If you make a Google search for Marseille Léon-Gourret you will find a map of the berth together with driving instructions to Porte-4.
I hope this will help you.
