F-15 crash 28/5/13

This morning a Kadena based usaf F-15 crashed. Pilot has ejected and is in contact with SAR unit.

A Japanese source informs me the crashed jet is 83-0025 from the 67th FS.

Are you sure about that? I was told during a recent visit it was 79-0025/ZZ

This comes from a reliable source,but it will be checked.

This crash has now been confirmed from Japanese sources as 79-0025.

The initial statement of 83-0025 being the victim of this crash is incorrect.

Correct....it was a 44th FS bird
