Looking at this I'm wondering if parking lot 3 would offer a good point for photography. Can't find this parking lot on Google Earth, but it appears to be on the military part of the airfield with the sun behind you. The distance to the runway and those buildings in front of it could spoil the fun though...

This was taken from the first arrow in Stefan's photo.

It is closer to the base than the other locations but it was taken from the other side of the trees so you're not obvious to the base. But it's worth making sure you don't wear a white T-shirt! :wink:

Bear in mind that they could impose restrictions on photographing on the premises. That is what they do at Seongnam as well, all non-airshow related traffic for instance is off-limits (but clearly in sight and therefore doable [and done ;-) ]).

Indeed...if that parking lot is truly a public car park then it will be very difficult for them to enforce the no shooting here rule.
